Art In The Country Set To Make Waves In Ballito
Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal – Artists and art lovers across KwaZulu-Natal are counting down to the inaugural Art in the Country Coastal exhibition, taking place from 1 to 4 October at Collisheen Estate in Ballito.
Building on five years of success in the Midlands, the coastal edition brings the popular Art in the Country experience to the North Coast, creating a platform where artists can showcase and sell their work while making quality art more accessible to the public.
Convenor Kathy Jacob and her experienced team bring a wealth of knowledge to the event, having established the Midlands exhibition as a highly successful annual celebration of art.
Around 60 artists, selected from more than 300 applications, will feature at the Ballito event, offering visitors an exciting showcase of artistic talent.
Art in the Country Coastal will combine art with great food and live entertainment, with popular saxophonist Rene Tshiakanyi headlining the music programme.
“With an exciting gallery of artists at a great venue, Art in the Country Coastal is going to make waves,” says Jacob.
Art lovers, collectors and members of the public are invited to experience the exhibition and support the artists whose work will be showcased throughout the four-day event.
Admission is R50 per person, with pensioners paying R30.
